The Idiom Initiative
The Idiom Initiative is a learning and teaching programme designed encourage Entreprenership and Creative Thinking.
Challenging students to think outside the box: and do something different while embedding basic 'soft' skills
Workshops are delivered by S6 Pupils going on to study Primary Teaching, giving them valuable hands on experience
Over 750 pupils have already recieved the Idiom Initiative; with over 150 hours of volunteering completed
Our workshops are designed to be adaptable, so they can be delivered from Nursery, through to Primary 7
The Idiom Initiative has been identified as an example of best practice by Scotland's Enterprising Schools, and the programme is also supported by Dumfries and Galloway Council and the University of Glasgow.
