Ruairi leads everything related to Sales, having taken up post as Sales Director in August 2019. Ruairi has been involved with Idiom for some time, having already worked at many markets, and overseen all our distribution deals since January 2019 - as well as delivering several #IdiomInitiative workshops across Dumfries and Galloway, and being a major advocate for the programme.
In his spare time Ruairi thrives at being involved with many productions at the Theatre Royal (the oldest working theatre in scotland) throughout the year; as well as being a long standing member of the The Guild of Players, in addition to this he has recently taken up ‘Halberdier’ duties at the annual Guid Nychburris Festivities
Megan has been with Idiom since day one, having first acted as Company Secretary: she now fills the role of Business Development Director, and leads on all product development and the #IdiomInitiative. Already a one-time joint author with 'Bonnie the Beltie', Megan released her second book - 'Ben's Big Adventure' in December 2019. She is perfectly equipt to grow the Product Portfolio of Idiom - and her experience delivering #IdiomInitiative workshops is second to none.
Megan loves dancing and has done so since she was a child. She also loves adventure, and is a true philanthropist - having spent 4 weeks in July/August 2019 working in Kenya with Camps International to rebuild infrastructure and provide a better life to many struggling in poverty: alongside a group from Dumfries and Galloway.
Director: Business Development
Lyle has been at the helm of Idiom as Managing Director since day one - driving forward ideas, buying countless packets of biscuits, and working with all our stakeholders to deliver Bonnie the Beltie. Lyle's passion for all things learning was partly the reason behind the foundation of the #IdiomInitiative, and this year he has overseen the pilot, and regional roll out of the programme.
Lyle is certainly not know for being shy - and public speaking, well... apparently it comes from his mum!
Lyle was awarded Scottish Managing Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors at the Young Enterprise Scotland National Final, and Regional Managing Director of the Year by Young Enterprise - Dumfries & Galloway!
Kira pulls all the purse strings in Idiom; taking lead as Financial Director - having filled the role for over a year. Kira has already been highly involved in the #IdiomInitiative, delivering workshops in schools across Dumfries and Galloway - with a particular focus on Financial Management - as well as being a major advocate for growth and company development!
Kira is also employed by B&M Stores, and enjoys spending time playing netball - particularly for the Local High School's Netball Team, as well as coaching lower level players throughout the year.
